My husband and I came into the Hyundai Hicksville Dealership the day after we moved back to Long Island from living in London for over a year. He was kind and approachable and later became my favorite person! He showed us a few models, but I had the Tucson in mind. My main concern was safety. I wanted a car that would protect me and my husband and our future kids. Henry really put me at ease, printed out statistics on the cars safety and showed me where the air bags were located, amongst other things. We had a great time test driving and Henry talked about the different features of the car during the drive. He spoke of things that appealed to my husband and things that appealed to me...
I've been to quite a few dealerships in New York over the course of the past 15 years, in Manhattan, the Bronx, Queens, and all over Long Island, and in that time I've dealt with a lot of salesmen; some were clueless, others rude or condescending toward me as a woman (the stereotype of the car salesman who treats all women like morons is very real), then I met Kevin Murphy & the team at Advantage Hyundai. I can't begin to express how refreshing it was to deal with Kevin, not only was he extremely professional, friendly and informative, he actually listened to what I wanted and helped me get it. You may be thinking, "Well that's what he's supposed to do," but if you've dealt with most car salesmen, you know that they often play deaf, ignore your preferences and push to sell whatever's on the lot, but not Kevin.
We just leased a great deal on a 2016 Hyundai Tuscon at this dealership this past weekend. We dealt with Charlie Valvano who was so patient, thorough and kind throughout the whole process. i have to say that this is the best Hyundai dealership I ever been to. My salesperson was Tessa and she was the best! She listened to what I was looking for and found the perfect car for me. Soon afterward I met Tom in finance who is a gentleman, he never forced me to buy anything and the whole experience was very pleasant. By the way they have an excellent tire car package at a very affordable price that also includes smell dents and dings I believe. If your leasing it's a must! It's so hard finding legitimate places like this in the auto industry... You just can't beat this place. Every one was really cool, and tottaly willing to work with your.
